Great bikes and passionate staff. Explained all the features in great detail. One striking thing from the demo ride is the comfort that the seat offers.

I’m forced to give two stars just because of one reason , sales representative Mr.Karthik Gayakwad. Until you make the payment he will be at his best and ideal behaviour. Once we stepped out of the showroom he wasn’t available to even respond to our queries regarding vehicle delivery. As delivery location is situated in Koramangala , we had to travel 18 kms from our home to recieve the vehicle. We faced so many issues after reaching delivery location ,we had a lot of confusion and our only point of contact to clarify was Mr. Karthik , who was not answering calls or replying to messages. As a result we didn’t get our vehicle even after travelling so much , we had to come another day which means keeping aside work for two days to get a vehicle which you paid for. These kind of employees make you lose trust and hate the whole company and regret choosing it everyday. I’m aware Mr. Karthik was only doing his job , which is to make a sale and bag his incentives but that’s not all the job is about. Even a child can make a sale to a customer who has already decided to buy the vehicle, Mr.Karthik is not required for that job. I really wish there was a method to know what action will be taken by the company on complaints.

I’d a wonderful overall experience while buying my Ather 450X @ Ather Indiranagar. Special Thx to Praleen for patiently explaining the features/functionalities of the scooter and answering all my queries which made my decision to go for the Ather much easier. She made sure my booking was simple and delivery process was smooth. Having fun zipping across Bengaluru in my Ather 450X. Thx team Ather 👍🏻

Full Story (Comment):
“Ather Energy: A Premium EV with a Nightmare Customer Experience
I chose to support a homegrown brand, believing in Ather Energy’s vision for the future of Indian EVs. But my journey has been nothing short of a disaster, marked by mismanagement, broken promises, and shocking unprofessionalism. Here’s what happened:
🚨 The Purchase Disaster
On December 31, 2024, I visited Ather’s Indiranagar showroom in Bangalore and paid the full amount upfront for their flagship 450x. Yet, it took 15 days and relentless follow-ups just to receive an invoice. No explanation was provided for this delay.
⚡ The Hidden Launch
Three days after my payment, I discovered that Ather was launching a new model. The showroom team, despite being the OEM outlet, failed to inform me about this upcoming launch. Where’s the transparency?
🤯 The Stock Lie
After multiple heated discussions, the showroom reluctantly agreed to upgrade my order. However, they claimed the new model was “out of stock.” Here’s the catch: when I posed as a new customer, they promised delivery of the same model by January 15, 2025. I have call recordings to back this up.
🔌 The Charger Chaos
When my vehicle was finally invoiced, they billed me for the wrong charger (2.9kW instead of the correct one). After paying the difference for the correct charger, I was presented with two unacceptable options:
1. Take the old charger.
2. Wait indefinitely for a “system update.”
👎 Unprofessionalism at Its Worst
The showroom manager, Mr. Anoop, confirmed via chat that the stock was ready but refused to issue my vehicle, citing that I had already made payment. His tone and conduct during discussions, particularly with me were disrespectful and unprofessional. I have evidence to support this.
💡 Why This Matters
Ather Energy symbolizes the future of Indian EVs, but their poor customer service, lack of transparency, and unprofessional behavior erode the trust that loyal customers place in them. If this is how customers are treated after paying a premium, what message does it send to prospective buyers?
🛑 What I Demand
1. Immediate issuance of the correct vehicle and charger.
2. Action against the showroom manager for his unprofessional conduct.
3. A formal apology for the delays, misinformation, and mistreatment.
If no action is taken, I will escalate this issue to the Consumer Forum and share the evidence publicly.
Ather, you’ve let me down. Do better.
